Trip to Trista's

We can't begin to say thank-you enough to Trista for such a great weekend!!!

Kris and I flew out Friday morning (thanks again for the ride Anne) and spent Memorial Day weekend in Milford, MI with Trista. We had a GREAT time!!! The first picture is Trista's house.. which is beatiful... her neighboors, the butcher, even people at the local market knew her- it was like being with a celebrity!

Friday night we went to the Twins vs. Tigers game in Detroit. Kris's friend and former co-worker Ryan came with too. It was great to meet him (and thanks for driving us to the game.)Let me tell you, the Detroit Mascott wasn't the only one giving Kris looks for the Twins apparel.. ha ha!!

The rest of the weekend we got to do some shopping, had a BBQ, went to the park, toured Trista's work at GM and some of the test roads and new car models, and had a chance to spend some time hanging out~ it was great.. Thanks Again Trista!!!

I'm not sure if you can tell so much in the last picture but Kris and I also had the chance to soak up a little sun (the weather was great)-- but my neck and Kris's poor head got some serious sun- youchie...

It was back to reality today getting up and heading in to work... But we were pretty happy to see Ronan tonight... he was pretty riled up over some micro machines and mini containers of ice cream from Ben and Jerry's- (no clue who thought that would be a good idea) ha ha.. . I hope everyone else had a great weekend as well.
