Weekend Adventures

Hi Everyone...
Well I firstly have to give a big HELLO and CONGRATULATIONS to Dave and Trish and their new baby boy Blake!!! YEAH.. we can't wait to meet him...
Our weekend was great! Saturday morning Anne and I got to meet for the Mpls Farmer's Market~ what a good time, I will definitely be going again.
We then decided that it was time to get the Hot Wheels bike out- and with a little (ton) of encouragement Ronan decided the riding his bike business wasn't so bad after all... he did a great job once he got the hang of it and I think with a little more practice and maybe some other kids riding their bikes too, he'll be all about it.
Ronan had Austin's b-day party on Saturday, so Kris and I headed to Lowe's and picked up a patio table for outside~ it's great, we have since eaten 3 meals outside! Love it.
We grilled steaks and asparagus the other night, and I have to report- Ronan ate steak, he liked steak... it was quite a proud moment for Kris I think~ and all I could think about is how expensive future grocery bills are going to be... ha haa..
The rest of the weekend was spent putzing around the yard- we found the longest root ever connected to what we think was a weed (at least we hope it wasn't something else)~ anyway, we were so impressed with it we had to take a picture.
This week will be busy, Colleen is in town from Tomahawk and we will get to see her tomorrow. Wednesday night is kickball, Thursday we've got a double date, and Friday we leave for Detroit! Kris and I are going to stay with his sister Trista for Memorial Day weekend... we are planning on seeing a Twins vs. Tigers game while we are there, but mostly going to spend some time with her... we are pretty excited for the time off!
I'll get some pictures from it all to share soon...
