Stout Camping 2008

What a great weekend!!!

This year for our annual camping trip we headed back to Black River to Lost Falls Campground. Last year it rained all weekend long- so you can guess how happy we were to have such great weather!!!

We had a lot of fun...catching up with everyone, tubing down the river for a few hours-- despite the sunburn and random knee injury-(haha hahaa.) I also think that glow in the dark Frisbee should be looked at more closely for the next Olympics...

I still can't believe... it was about 11 ish on Saturday night when "Bruce" the local golf cart guy comes around and has a lady friend on his cart- he introduced her as his wife who will be bringing some 4-H'ers to the campsite soon, and then explained she had catered a large dinner that day... I'd have to say around 12 ish... Bruce's wife and her friend show up with about 3 dozen pieces of friend chicken for us, still warm!!! What a great fireside snack!!! ahaha.. We then decided Sunday morning to go to her restaurant for Brunch. So if you're ever in Melrose, WI- check out L & M restaurant... good people.

Anyway, it was a really fun weekend... and I hope to see everyone again very soon!
