Bowhunting with Dad

This past weekend... Saturday through Tuesday... Ash and I went to stay with Dad and the Crew for Hunting Camp. It was so much fun!!! The weather (although not so hot for hunting) made for excellent camping. We had a bonfire almost every night, and they found some hollow logs to make chimneys out of... it was like a big giant torch. Dave and Bryce both got bucks while we were there~ Way to go!!! I did not get a deer, between my inexperience at bow hunting and the unseasonably warm weather - I did see a few, but nothing that I had a chance to shoot.

Well, most of the stories I have fall under the "what happens at camp, stays at camp" clause... but what I can say.. is that spending time with Dad means more than we can say!

I was also pretty excited when I came home- Kris had bought Ronan his very own "hunting" shirt... he couldn't wait to hear more stories about hunting and even made Kris "trot" around the living room pretending he was a buck that we needed to hunt...

Thanks again Dad and the crew... we always feel pretty special when we're out hunting with all of you!
