Great Mother's Day

Mom and I did it!!! We registered for the Susan G Komen walk for Breast Cancer at the Mall of America this Mother's Day... technically 3.1 miles, but we counted it as at least 4 (counting parking lot trips with freebies to unload. It was amazing... people told me how emotional it is when you see the ocean of pink all walking together, the were right! I totally lost it when mom started the water works after seeing a sign for someone she had known from Marshfield, believe it or not. It was awesome to be there with mom, and we agreed we'd do it again.

The rest of the weekend went just as well, mom and I had a chance to have some good food, do some shopping (Fun Sister's included!) I love having her come stay - thanks for being a great mom!!! 

To top off the weekend of goodness, Ronan came back from school with a special project the kids did with Miss Gondorchin (his teacher) essays about their moms. Ronan chose to do his about Colie (pretty sure I cried again here- call me Sappy Sapperton this weekend-jeesh) It was adorable, and something I hope to hang on to forever.
