Thankful for So Much

My mom called me the other day to tell me that Oprah had the original cast from the Sound of Music on her show. Sound strange? It's not... this movie has got to be my most favorite movie of ALL time... (I hope Santa knows it's now out in Blue Ray...hee hee) I recorded it and I've watched it twice now- it makes me smile and cry (weird, but knowing poor Julie Andrews vocal cords are so damaged she can't sing like that anymore- makes me sad!) Well, the long short of this is that watching that movie reminds me of the holidays... and makes me all sappy - but mostly reminds me how much I am thankful for (and that I secretly wish we had a puppet show in our house, and a giant staircase to say goodnight on, and a gazebo I could jump from bench to bench in!) Ok, you get the point! :)
There's so many people and so much to be thankful for it's hard to put it all down, our families, we have the most incredibly supportive families that we love so much! I'm thankful for Kris and Ronan (our family) we've had a great year: Ronan's in 1st grade- so good at school, great group of friends, and he's such a great kid- so smart and funny as all get out! Kris and I got married 4 months ago already-- woo hoo- so thankful for having a great husband! Our friends, we continually are so lucky to have such amazing friends that we love so much. Our house! We just celebrated being in our new house for 1 year, we love our neighbors and our location more and more. Moral is we are happy and healthy and so thankful for all that we have in our lives.
Happy Thanksgiving!
