First Family Camping Trip

We decided on Duluth and made the trip in Ashley's Equinox filled to the brim!

We stayed at Spirit Mountain Campground and truly had a memorable time!

Ronan loved setting up the tent and sleeping on his own air mattress, despite making the claim that he'd stay up late each night, the outdoor air must have tuckered him out, both nights he barely made it to 9:00. We took a day trip into Duluth, eating at Grandma's, touring the giant ship in the dock, and renting a 4-wheeled bike to ride around the city!

Nightime brought a whole new set of experiences, wildlife! We had a creepy racoon that visited both nights... scared the crap-ola out of both of us, possibly me more than Kris. On the bright side- Ronan slept through it all... this racoon must frequent campsites, scavaging for things left out, it had NO fear of getting up close.

The second night, in addition to the racoon coming back - we also had a skunk! It didn't spray, thank heavens, but we were still pretty much afriad of what else could possibly pop out of the forest at any time!

Our first family camping was amazing... loved it!
