Ronan Turns Five!!!

Ronan turns five on Monday... waa hoo!

We had a great birthday party today at the Eagles Nest play area of the New Brighton Family Center. Ronan invited 13 of his friends (a few older siblings tagged along) and along with Katie and Chris we had a great party for him. Pizza, presents and lots of play time... crazy but lots of fun a very memorable day! We learned a lot from this first big party. 1. always have name tags that say "Ronan's party my name is ____" with 14 kids to keep track of and about 500 other ones running around this would have been helpful. 2. Choose cake frosting that is light in color. We had blue and black frosting (one child actually dunked his face in his piece thus leading to a smurfy looking kid all day) 3. Kids drink a lot. (more water, more juice-wow!) 4. Always overestimate the time it will take to do anything with this many kids!

The sheer amount of Star Wars items Ronan has received is mind blowing- we could re-create the movies - I kid you not... haha..

Tomorrow is the actual day and Kris is headed to pre-school to read a book and share a birthday snack with the class...
