Crazy Weekend

Well this was certainly an interesting weekend... we were planning on going on our first family tent camping experience, but unfortunately the weather had other plans in mind. Saturday night we had sirens, tornado warnings and a huge storm! We went with plan B during the day and drove to Spring Valley, WI and went to Crystal Cave. It was a great time... we went 72 feet under the ground to the caves and learned all about stalactites and mites. Ronan was a little unsure at first, but ended up being the best kid on the tour! He had so many questions and was so into it... we even got him a bag of gems he could "pan" for afterwards to keep!

Our camping is postponed until hopefully another weekend of nice weather rolls along- but I think our plan B ended up turning out to be a great time!
