are you guys still out there?

well, i've got to apologize, it's sure been a long time! 

it seems as though we've lost the software for our camera- so all these wonderful pictures are not making their way to our computer! 

Here's some highlights though:

1. our anniversary-- July 10! we've been officially married for 1 year. Kris ate too much of our cake we saved in the deep freeze, and our garage door spring broke; however, we had an amazing meal at the melting pot and we still love each other~ that's the important stuff right?

2. It's summer, and to be honest, it's hot, and humid, and gross lately. we did boatloads of outdoor projects - kris is literally the "king of dirt", however, lately, it's hard to even stay outside for very long- not to mention the flocks of mosquitoes that seem to call our yard home.

3.  ronan is loving summer, taking swim lessons and getting really comfortable in the water. play-dates, daycare activities, times at the cabin- his summer has been pretty full!

4. family trips- we took ronan and went camping just the 3 of us. so much fun- near duluth, we rented one of those 4-seater car/bike/surreys on the boardwalk (which we got lost while riding), we camped- and had raccoons and skunks in our campsite, but to be honest~ felt it was a really successful trip! 

Overall we've had a pretty good summer so far, we've seen family & friends, and done a boatload of fun things... with more to come i'm sure. 

Once we get the camera up and downloading again- I'll post pictures and promise to be a little better about this whole updating business.
