A New Start

This photo (sorry-it's a cell phone photo) was taken at a going away Happy Hour a few of my former co-workers through me a few weeks ago. 

I had one of the most tearful goodbyes of ever... to be honest, I was a big baby! Haaa- but, to be honest, when you share your world with people for the last 5 years, watching me through our wedding, buying our first house together... and then for me, knowing people through babies, promotions, tough times and some really good times... it's very hard to know that I was leaving. 

I am SO thankful to everyone at Len Busch for everything I learned, and everyone I met.

On the bright side.... I am now working with an incredible team of people here at the U of M! My job, as Finance Coordinator is SO new and different, it's amazing.

I feel like each day I'm learning something else new, and someone else as well. The U is incredible, at the risk of sounding extremely naive, I was telling my buddies, it's like a little mini world, everyone functions together but super independently as well, so many things going on, so much professionalism, but kindness and amazingly talented, super smart people.... I am hoping by sheer osmosis, or just over time, I will be considered a smarty in my position also! 

So... it's a new start... which is a good thing.
