Cookie Monster

So Ronan told me the other day, that Cookie Monster has been replaced on Sesame Street with "Veggie Monster"... I later did a little Google research and found out that I don't think this is totally true, but they are trying to put a more positive spin on veggies for the lovable Monster.

This is the conversation; however, that had me feeling like a super-mom!

Ronan: "Colie, did you know that Cookie Monster is now ...Veggie Monster?"

Me: "What?! That's outrageous, Cookie Monster has been around since I was a kid! Veggie Monster? C'mon that seems crazy!"

Ronan: "I know, I guess it's because they want kids to see that they should eat more veggies and less cookies."

Me: "Well, isn't that what parents are for? Teaching your kids how to eat healthy and be balanced with treats and good for you foods."

Ronan: "I think that you should get a job telling people this stuff Colie, you always know the right answers!"

Gosh, I love that kid!
